Ways to Fundraise
There’s loads of stuff that you can do to get on board and help us raise the cash we need to make sure we can fight for all the feels and continue to support Brum’s young people. Check out some of these ideas.
Take it virtual
So many mass participation events like runs and cycles have been cancelled this year due to the pandemic, so why not take it virtual? Complete a marathon by running laps of your estate, cycle the distance of the Velo in your local park or even climb the height of Snowdon on your stairs. It’s the same distance, just somewhere else!
Stay home
Lockdown restrictions or not, sometimes we just don’t fancy leaving the house, and that’s okay! There’s nothing to stop you from fundraising from home. Gather your pals for a party on Zoom, or try your hand at hosting a virtual quiz – just ask each team to donate whatever they can afford to take part. You could also set up a Just Giving page and post the link on your socials, asking your friends to donate for your birthday…as long as you’re happy to share your gifts with us!
Do your own thing and get sponsored
Whether it is doing something you really love, something you hate, or something to challenge yourself, get sponsored! If you’re heading out to climb a mountain, planning an extreme haircut, or if the adrenaline junkie inside you is begging to take on a skydive, raise the cash by asking for sponsorship. Whether you share a challenge with your mates or take on a solo mission, ask your friends and family to sponsor you to complete it.
At school
If you’re back to class it’s the perfect opportunity to rally your classmates and pull together to raise some cash. It can be as easy as hosting a “dress down day for a pound” or bring your best joke to see who can make the boss chuckle. We get to keep on fighting for all the feels, and you get to feel good. It’s a win-win.
At work
Ask your employer about starting a “charity of the year partnership” with us at Fight For All The Feels and get involved with staff fundraising, challenge events and much more.
You could support us through cause related marketing like adding £1 to a customer’s bill or donate a percentage of your sales of a particular product to our wonderful cause?
You could sponsor us though Corporate events like Golf Days and Award dinners, or enroll in Payroll Giving – a smart, simple and tax-effective way to give to charity straight from your pay cheque every month. You’ll just need to talk to your HR team to get started!
